We’re thrilled to announce that Rickia Paige, LPN at Raleigh Court Health & Rehabilitation Center, has been selected as one of only 20 recipients of the 2025 Regirer Nursing Scholarship, awarded by the Commonwealth Long Term Care Foundation.

Rickia will receive a $2,000 scholarship to support her pursuit of becoming a Registered Nurse (RN). This goal reflects her deep commitment to professional growth and providing exceptional care to our residents.

“Rickia’s drive to advance her nursing career while continuing to serve our residents with compassion and excellence is truly inspiring. We’re proud to support her journey toward becoming an RN,” said Korie Flannagan, Administrator.

The Regirer Nursing Scholarship Program is a prestigious initiative designed to promote quality care and elevate the educational level of nurses working in long-term care. It is administered by the Commonwealth Long Term Care Foundation, a nonprofit affiliated with the Virginia Health Care Association – Virginia Center for Assisted Living (VHCA-VCAL).

VHCA-VCAL is Virginia’s largest association representing over 360 nursing and assisted living facilities, advocating for the interests of residents, patients, and the dedicated professionals who care for them. Since its inception in 1997, the Foundation has awarded over $980,000 in scholarships to more than 630 caregivers across the Commonwealth.

Rickia’s achievement is a testament to the power of opportunity, education, and the unwavering dedication of long-term care professionals.
