This morning, we got up before the sun did to come enjoy this break in the weather and cook breakfast for our amazing team! Tomorrow is Employee Appreciation Day, so we have to celebrate the people who show up every day, who go above and beyond to make everyone's lives better. We would like to proudly recognize Briana Drake, COTA, for Employee of the Month in recognition of the outstanding care, dedication, and positivity she brings to our skilled nursing community every day.

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Briana consistently demonstrates compassion, professionalism, and a strong commitment to helping residents achieve their highest level of independence. Even as a newer employee with less than a year on our team, she has quickly become a valued and trusted member of the therapy department.

Briana approaches each resident with patience, encouragement, and creativity, tailoring treatments to meet individual needs while keeping therapy engaging and meaningful. She builds strong therapeutic relationships and ensures residents feel supported, motivated, and respected throughout their rehabilitation journey.

In addition to her clinical skills, Briana is always willing to collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to promote the best outcomes for residents. Her positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to step in wherever needed truly reflect the spirit of teamwork and excellence we strive for.

Briana’s dedication to resident-centered care and her enthusiasm for learning and growing in her role make her an exceptional example of what Employee of the Month represents. She consistently goes above and beyond, and our residents and staff are better because of her presence.
