Job Title: Community Liaison
Location: Roanoke, VA
Job Type: Part-Time (Approximately 25 hours per week)
Reports To: Managing Director
Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and community-oriented Community Liaison to help grow and promote our home care services in Roanoke and surrounding areas. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, attending local events, and sharing resources with families and professionals. The right candidate will be a natural communicator who is comfortable representing our company in public settings, engage with the community digitally and genuinely enjoys supporting seniors and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Outreach & Relationship Building:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare providers, senior living communities, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and other referral sources.
• Represent the company at health fairs, community events, networking meetings, and outreach programs.
• Serve as a friendly, knowledgeable point of contact between the company and community organizations.
Client & Family Engagement:
• Respond to inquiries from potential clients and families by phone, email, or in-person.
• Share information about home care services in a clear and compassionate way.
• Coordinate with office staff to support a smooth intake and onboarding process.
Marketing Support:
• Distribute brochures and promotional materials in key locations throughout the community.
• Support basic social media efforts by contributing photos, content ideas, and local updates.
• Help brainstorm and support local marketing campaigns that raise awareness of home care services.
Documentation & Communication:
• Keep track of outreach activities and contacts using simple tracking systems or CRM tools (training provided).
• Communicate regularly with the office team to ensure consistency and excellent service.

Qualifications:
• No degree required – experience in outreach, marketing, customer service, or healthcare is a plus.
• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking to people from all walks of life.
• Organized and dependable, with the ability to manage your time and follow through on tasks.
• Willingness to learn about home care services and represent the company professionally.
• Basic computer skills (email, social media, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
