Advance Funeral Planning: Free consultations to help families establish a file at the funeral home with vital statistics, biographical and survivor information; service and merchandise selections. We also have a prepayment plan, which allows you to take care of the financial portion in advance and have the cost for services and merchandise quaranteed at today's prices. Post-Service Follow Up Care: We have a staff member dedicated to assisting families after the funeral service. She provides helpful information for handling business affairs after a death occurs. This service is provided at no cost to the family. Group Presentations: Discussions with groups in our area concerning funeral services, care-giving and grief. Some are with nationally known speakers and many are provided at no cost . Our facilities are also available for group tours.

Way to go, guys!

Yesterday, 9/16, (l-r) Justin Fix (Manager, Roanoke Chapel), Joshua Dama (General Manager), Jacob Stritesky (Funeral Attendant), and Chris Gallimore (friend) played in the Virginia Funeral Sales Association Golf Tournament at Ashley Plantation, and they won the tournament! Josh Dama had the longest drive and a closest to the pin and Jacob Stritesky also had a closest to the pin.

It's back — The Oakey's Hospice Caregiver Award Program! Every day at Oakey’s, we hear about the wonderful work hospice caregivers do for Roanoke Valley families. To honor these dedicated individuals for the exceptional care and comfort they provide patients and their families, Oakey’s has created the Hospice Caregiver Award program.

Any hospice employee or volunteer who provides care or support directly to a patient or their family is eligible for nomination. A winner is selected each month.
