We’ve got a couple of weeks left here downtown, and before we go, we want to say something we wish more people heard — not for us, but for every small restaurant fighting to stay alive.
The truth? Those convenient delivery apps that make life easy are quietly crushing places like ours. The fees cut into what little profit we have, the nonstop online orders overwhelm tiny kitchens, and the customer experience often lands on us even when it’s out of our control. Visibility is great, but the cost is killing small local restaurants.
If you love a local spot, order directly from them. Better yet, walk through their doors, sit down, and enjoy a meal made by real people trying their best every day.
We’re saying this for the restaurants still hanging on. Your choices matter more than you know. Support local. Order direct. Dine in. Help them survive and thrive.
