We're proud to announce the next phase of our Pines Expansion: the addition of two new residential buildings, Red Bud and Mountain Laurel. These thoughtfully designed residences will introduce 28 elegant new units, expanding our vibrant community with even more options for refined living.

As we continue to grow, we're also enhancing the heart of our community. Our dining room and auditorium will undergo expansions to offer greater comfort, more seating, and an enriched calendar of culinary and cultural experiences.

We're proud to announce that our amazing Activities Team in the Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Memory Support Center has won Second Place in the National Skilled Nursing Care Week event, awarded by Virginia Health Care Association - Virginia Center for Assisted Living! This recognition comes as part of VHCA-VCAL's D.A. "Woody" Brown Community Involvement Awards, which celebrate creativity, professionalism, and dedication in designing programs that enrich the lives of residents and their families. With this year's NSNCW theme--"Tapestry of Life"--our team went above and beyond to create meaningful, entertaining, and engaging experiences for everyone in our care.

Our July 4th celebration at the NRC was filled with music, memories, and plenty of patriotic pride! The Second Chance Duo had everyone clapping, shedding a few tears and singing along to beloved classics. We kept the energy high with our popular Open Mic hour and no celebration would be complete without fun-filled firecrackers and festive mocktails.

Our IL residents are making the most of summer with a mix of fun, learning, and a little nostalgia. They recently enjoyed a guided walk through the VA Western Arboretum, got a sweet treat with some old-fashioned root beer floats, tried their hand at flower arranging, and explored local history at the Edith Bolling Wilson Museum in Wytheville.
