For over 35 years, we have provided quality medical care to the people of southwest Virginia, while preparing family medicine leaders of tomorrow. The osteopathic trainees receives both AOA and ACGME credit. Trainees who complete dual programs have the option to become board certified by either or both the AOA and the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). Our two PCMH based family medical centers are equipped with the latest technology and serve as vibrant models of patient care and education to the surrounding communities. We serve people of diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds from urban, suburban and rural areas.
