Reopelle Orthodontics She proudly followed in her father’s footsteps into the orthodontic field and took the reins when he retired after 40 years of creating beautiful smiles.

Dr. Penny Lampros, or “Dr. Penny” as many patients call her, is a second-generation, board-certified orthodontist who has been delivering the highest standard of orthodontic care since 1996. Dr. Penny continuously strives to stay on the cutting edge of the latest advancements in the field. Dr. Penny attended Wake Forest University for her Bachelor of Arts degree before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University. She then went on to Indiana University, where she graduated with her Master of Science in Dentistry degree, and completed her orthodontic specialty training. She is an active member of several prestigious organizations, including:

American Association of Orthodontists
American Dental Association
Virginia Association of Orthodontics (past president-first woman president)
the MisPiedmont Dental Society
Roanoke Valley Orthodontics Study Club
Roanoke Valley Dental Society (past president)
Dr. Penny is also active in her community and volunteers with sion of Mercy (MOM) Project. During her leisure time, she enjoys running with her family, including half marathon training, playing tennis, swimming with her daughter on a summer swim team, and spending time at the beach with her family. Our morning started with amazing massages at gotyourbackmassage. We then had a great lunch at castroanoke. To end our day we went on a shopping spree at the mall!

She enjoys working collaboratively with patients and their families to develop a plan that best addresses the patient’s concerns and most efficiently and effectively results in a beautiful and healthy smile. Dr. Reopelle finds it most rewarding to establish a relationship with her patients and their families throughout treatment and to be able to watch patients grow into confident and engaging young adults.
