We celebrate Ms. Hubbell's progress and graduation home along with the tremendous therapy provided by Haley and Kristi. The Activities Team at South Roanoke Nursing & Rehab.

The unmistakable love, care, creativity, and fun that Izzy and Paula bring everyday is reflected in the faces of our residents!

Izzy — “I love what I do because I love forming close knit relationships with all our folks. I have an attachment to the residents here.”
Paula — “Serving the residents here keeps me young! To work anywhere else, I would have retired by now.”

Mrs. Brookman admitted from the hospital to South Roanoke Nursing & Rehab after an acute neurological episode requiring skilled rehabilitation. Prior to admission, she was home living independently. And after 4 short weeks of Physical and Occupational Therapy, she has progressed from requiring moderate amount of assistance with ADLs and ambulation to returning home independently today! And for a fun fact about Mrs. Brookman, this is not her first stay with South Roanoke for nursing and rehab care. She has been here in the past and chooses to return for the quality of care she receives while getting well enough to return home. We will miss you Donna!
