🌿 October is Clergy Appreciation Month, and October 19–25 marks National Pastoral Care Week! It's the perfect time to celebrate someone very special here at Our Lady of the Valley!

We are so grateful for Lorie Holter, our Pastoral Counselor, whose compassionate heart and steady presence bring so much comfort and hope to our residents.

Lorie dedicates countless hours to prayer, Bible studies, and simply being a caring, listening ear to those who need it most. Her ministry touches lives in quiet but powerful ways every single day.

As our Health Services Administrator, Danci, shares:

🎃 CANDY DONATIONS NEEDED! 🍬

Halloween is almost here, and on Friday, Oct. 31, little trick-or-treaters from local preschools will be visiting our community in costume! 👻✨

We’re collecting candy and non-candy treats (stickers, small toys, etc.) to make the day extra special. Donations can be dropped off at the Assisted Living front desk by Oct. 30.

Thank you for helping us bring smiles to our residents and our tiniest guests! 💜🧡

🎉 Neighborhood Block Party at Our Lady of the Valley! 🎶🍔🌭

We brought everyone together- from Assisted Living, Memory Care, and the Nursing Center, for an afternoon filled with friendship, music, and delicious food!

This special event was all about reconnecting with old friends, meeting new ones, and celebrating the wonderful community we share here at Our Lady of the Valley. 💜

Beaver Dam Farm Sunflowers thank you for a perfect day at the Sunflower Festival! Tractor rides, fresh lemonade, petting zoo, beautiful blooms 🌻 and lots of smiles! Our residents had a blast! Can’t wait to visit again next year!

From finding hidden treasures to reconnecting with old friends, it was a day filled with smiles, stories, and shared purpose. We’re proud to announce 100% of the proceeds will go to The Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
