In honor of Veteran's Day, we are reminiscing on our last Dream Flights expedition where we had the privilege of providing several of our veteran residents with the flight of a lifetime in a restored WWII-era bi-plane.

We fondly look back on this day and treasure the memories made with these modern-day heroes! Our country is shaped by the sacrifices they have made, and it is our privilege to serve them each day in our communities. Today, and every day, we honor their bravery.

Spirit Week is in full swing at RUI, and our team members and residents are loving every moment! 🎃
We kicked things off with Monster Mash Monday, showing off our best orange-and-black looks, then doubled the fun on Twinning Tuesday with matching outfits galore. Halftime Wednesday brought out our inner super fans as we proudly repped our favorite teams.
This week is all about creativity, connection, and community spirit—and we can’t get enough of it! 🧡

We are so incredibly proud to announce that our very own Executive Director, Amanda Waggy, at Aarondale Retirement & Assisted Living Community has been named the 2025 Assisted Living Administrator of the Year by the Virginia Health Care Association - Virginia Center for Assisted Living.

At last night’s VHCA-VCAL gala, she was surprised with this well-deserved award surrounded by our Home Office leadership team along with a surprise visit from her family who attended to join in the celebration!

Everyone who knows Amanda knows that she makes a lasting impression on everyone she meets. Her joy is abundant, her leadership is steadfast, and her compassion is everflowing. Not your average Professional Networking Event! 🏅 Our Bay Lake Independent, Assisted Living, & Memory Care Community held their first annual Senior Professional Field Day. With senior care professionals from all over the Hampton Roads area, attendees put their game faces on for a little friendly competition and a whole lot of laughs.
