This patient started treatment almost 2 weeks ago. Through the use of complete decongestive therapy her lymphedema is significantly improving. She has lost 5 pounds of fluid in her left leg. She is an awesome patient as she's tolerating treatment extremely well. However, after 41 years with a leg this size, she is seemingly enjoying the process of reduction. Her independence is strengthening, her ability to move her leg is improving, and her overall physical state is better. As a therapist, I see this every day, but I cannot imagine walking in the shoes of people that suffer from this condition. My hats off to you Mrs. patient!!!
