I always send family calendars for Christmas. It is really easy to create specialized and customized calendars. You can showcase photos from that month or you can create a theme for the year. I usually use photos from the month, but I also include photos of the people who have birthdays during that month. I have also created a "family tree/ancestry" calendar. It is a great way to share with loved ones.

I just sent in 6 movie reels that were dated in the late 1960s. There is no sound, but just being able to see the family in our younger years is such a treat. It also affirms my memories. Did we do that or not? Well here is proof.

We just spent some time helping a Guatemalan family order breakfast at McDonalds. They tried to use the kiosk but they wanted to pay with cash and that option wasn’t there. So I helped them at the counter with the bits of Spanish that I knew. Terry was talking to the little boy who repeatedly asked “Que dice ___?” We did the best we could and we think they appreciated it.

This deal does not happen often. Honestly, I don't think I have seen this deal for at least 5 years. So this is the time to get them out and send them in, so you can watch those precious memories again.

My granddaughters are so fortunate that they can see and hear their Great-great grandparents, great grandparents, grandparents and parents. How excited would you be to find that precious video of someone special who has passed on.
