Firework Safety

Fireworks can be a fun and exciting way to celebrate holidays and special events, but they must be handled responsibly to ensure everyone’s safety. Each year, thousands of people—many of them children and teens—are injured by fireworks, often due to misuse or lack of precautions.

To stay safe:
• Follow local laws and regulations regarding firework use.
• Only use fireworks outdoors and in a clear, open area away from buildings, trees, and flammable materials.
• Never allow young children to handle fireworks, and always supervise older children.
• Keep a bucket of water or hose nearby in case of fire or malfunction.
• Never relight or handle malfunctioning fireworks. Soak them in water and dispose of them properly.
• Do not point or throw fireworks at people, animals, or property.
• Avoid alcohol use when lighting fireworks.

If possible, consider attending a public fireworks display operated by professionals. Safety should always come first—celebrate smart and stay safe.

We have had numerous phone calls with billing question or credit card charges and they speak to someone and it looks like our phone number. A lot of them seem to have visited an urgent care somewhere within the last few months. Please please be aware and check with us before giving out personal information. Verify the dates you were seen or your EOBs. The scammers are out there and are vigilant.

We plan to resume office hours today 1/23/25 10:00am-5:00pm. Stay safe!!
