Take Charge of Your Well-being at the Hope Community Health & Wellness Fair!
Mark your calendars! The Hope Community Health & Wellness Fair is coming to the Fairhope Rotary Youth Club on Saturday, October 18th from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
This free event is your chance to connect with many amazing local organizations dedicated to a healthier you. You can get free health screenings, learn about important wellness resources, and find information on everything from nutrition to mental health.
We're proud to partner with these local organizations and many more who will be there to offer their services and support.
- Free eye glass adjustments and eye exam vouchers through the Lions Club
- Blood pressure testing from the Alabama Free Clinic
- Art projects for kids by the Eastern Shore Art Center
- Resources on equitable health programs for mothers and babies through Igniting Impact/March of Dimes
- Maternal and Infant Health resources with Alabama Dept of Health
- Information on ultrasounds, pregnancy, and STD testing for women’s health by Women's Care Clinic
- Free HIV screening through the Accordia Health Project
- Information on vaccine programs through the Alabama Department of Health
- Domestic violence resources from The Lighthouse
- Mental Health psychiatric and counseling programs with Altapointe
- Substance use disorder support for adolescents and adults through NAMI, The Shoulder, The Harbor, and The Bridge
- Supportive services available for individuals with Sickle Cell Disease
- Hospice program information from Aveanna Healthcare
- Inpatient rehab information from Encompass Health
- Medicaid care coordination information from Gulf Coast Total Care
- Public policy improvements for Alabamians who are marginalized by poverty with Alabama Arise
- Free books for children and adults and information on dyslexia and literacy tutoring from South Baldwin Literacy Council
