Taking a Christian counseling course had been an idea for some time, and .shawnkirk class came right on time. As an LCSW and owner of Hope 2 Whole Mental Health, I desired to incorporate faith into my professional services. Not only was his course open to counseling professionals, but it was specifically designed for pastors, elders, and clergy. Attending class with individuals who want to enhance their emotional intelligence to serve others is a blessing. We explored the integration of scripture into counseling and discovered methods to increase hope in people’s lives. I am grateful for this experience and excited for the developing testimonies.

Summer can have both positive and negative effects on mood. Warmer weather and increased sunlight can improve mood and energy, but high temperatures can also cause irritability, stress, and sleep problems in some people. Be sure to care for yourself and your loved ones during this time. Be sure to open blinds and expose yourself to indirect sunlight while being sure to take break in the shade and hydrate.
