Isn't it time to break the Mold??? This winter, during the long days ahead I'm going to work on Personal Growth, that's my focus!!!
❀️TO GROW
πŸ’™TO LEARN
πŸ’œTO IMPROVE
πŸ’›TO LOVE (myself, more!)
How many times have you told yourself...I can't...I'm not good enough...It's too hard....I'm not smart enough...
That needs to change to...I can....I am good enough...I'll try and keep trying....I am smart and what I don't know I will learn...
You are what you tell yourself. Isn't it time you spoke to yourself the way you speak to others'?
You would NEVER tell your child, or your spouse, or your best friend, any of those things. You would encourage them and give them the best of you! Try doing that for YOU! You will be amazed at what you can accomplish when you change the way you speak to yourself!

A friend of mine posted this today, it is to poignant not to share!!!❀❀❀

My dad has bees.Today I went to his house and he showed me all of the honey he had gotten from the hives. He took the lid off of a 5 gallon bucket full of honey and on top of the honey there were 3 little bees, struggling. They were covered in sticky honey and drowning. I asked him if we could help them and he said he was sure they wouldn't survive. Casualties of honey collection I suppose.
I asked him again if we could at least get them out and kill them quickly, after all he was the one who taught me to put a suffering animal (or bug) out of its misery. He finally conceded and scooped the bees out of the bucket. He put them in an empty Chobani yogurt container and put the plastic container outside.
Because he had disrupted the hive with the earlier honey collection, there were bees flying all over outside.
We put the 3 little bees in the container on a bench and left them to their fate. My dad called me out a little while later to show me what was happening. These three little bees were surrounded by all of their sisters (all of the bees are females) and they were cleaning the sticky nearly dead bees, helping them to get all of the honey off of their bodies. We came back a short time later and there was only one little bee left in the container. She was still being tended to by her sisters.
When it was time for me to leave we checked one last time and all three of the bees had been cleaned off enough to fly away and the container was empty.
Those three little bees lived because they were surrounded by family and friends who would not give up on them, family and friends who refused to let them drown in their own stickiness and resolved to help until the last little bee could be set free.
Bee Sisters. Bee Peers. Bee Teammates.
We could all learn a thing or two from these bees.
Bee kind always.~

This little boy could sure use some prayers and support. His family and friends are doing all kinds of raffles to raise money for him to go to Chicago to have a lifesaving surgery. Check out his page and if you could donate or buy a raffle ticket, that would be awesome! His grandparents are friends of mine and Allen's, we would appreciate all the support you can give them. Link to his page will be in the comments...

Come on Mothers with Daughters, the challenge is on! If you have a daughter in your life who helps bring balance to your world; who is beautiful in every way; has a heart of gold; who makes you laugh but drives you crazy; who is your best friend and sometimes your only friend; who fills your rainy days with sunshine; who you want to achieve all her dreams, and are so proud of the way she is and stands up to what she believes; who you are thankful for and truly adore, let her have a moment and put this as your status. (Copy and paste this status and add a picture!!)
I have two, Melissa Godwin Lane and Torri Godwin Lamb

I don't think we can know the precise moment when things start to change, but change they do.
In the insecurity of my youth, I felt the need to always win and always succeed. My fierce tendency to compete with others started to diminish somewhere along the journey. I let what others think not only determine what I did or how I did it, but I tended to let their opinions and comments erode my self esteem.
As I gradually stopped comparing myself to others and letting what they thought affect what I ultimately did, I received the best gift - the freedom to be me. I was no longer a mixture of what I thought others wanted me to be; instead, I became my unique quirky self. I finally escaped from that misery making "comparison syndrome" that held me in its clutches like a vise grip for so many years.

Wisdom certainly comes with age, and my faith has certainly deepened with age and life experiences. My focus has slowly turned from myself as the center to the people that make up my world - a more servant mind set where I have found that the more you give of yourself, the more you receive.
How odd it is that the strongest convictions, like possessions, start to lose their significance as you enter the winter of your life! Relationships become front and center, and you realize that how you interact with others and the things you involve yourself in will become the legacy you leave behind.
The saddest part of this revelation is that it takes so long for most of us to realize that we are each uniquely made by our Creator who designed us and who gave each of us our own special destiny to fulfill. Even sadder still are those who remain in the grip of the comparison syndrome their entire lives, never enjoying the freedom to become the person God wanted them to be. (2 Cor 10: 11,12,18). As Chuck Swindoll tweeted a few years ago: "God's spirit frees you to be you, not a mixture of what others expect you to be!" Hope everyone has a great week!

Ozempic...the controversy around it...

I've always been an advocate for natural, healthy weight loss. Portion control, healthy eating, and exercise. I do think there are some healthy weight loss aids that can be used if done correctly.

Ozempic was originally prescribed for use with diabetes, but they found that it will drastically and rapidly assist with weight loss. It is now prescribed for weight loss, not its intended use.

I've read articles on the subject and while it does aid in weight loss, it can also cause you to form bad eating habits. Ozempic creates an aversion to foods, causes nausea, and can cause other complications.

I'm curious since I am a diabetic, if it is a drug I should take. I don't need to lose weight so I'm worried that it could cause me more harm than good.

What are your thoughts on using Ozempic for weight loss? Do you know of any advantages or disadvantages in using this as a weight loss product?Ozempic...the controversy around it...

What do you want your future to look like? I always ask myself this question!

🧐 I don't want to have to use a walker, I certainly don't want to be in a wheelchair! Now that Diabetes is my new normal, I don't want it to define who I am!

Eating healthy will help me to avoid a lot of issues with Diabetes. Staying active and being careful about what I put in and on my body is also key!

I'm working on me, for me, and for my family! One day, my future self will thank me for it. It's never to late to think ahead!

Farmasi has a lot of wellness products that help me to maintain my health, clean products! Ask me about them!
