Dr. Haddad is one of the most recognized dentists in Michigan, partly for his extensive work with TMJ and sleep apnea sufferers. He has never been one to recognize that the word "dentist" means he should limit himself to being a "tooth doctor." Instead, he realized that the body is a complete system with complex interactions that are best understood and treated with a broader perspective.

Daily headaches and migraines are not normal.

For many patients, the real cause isn’t neurological at all; it’s their jaw and bite. TMJ disorders can put constant tension on the head and neck muscles, leading to pain that lasts for years.

The good news? With the right diagnostics, we can identify the root cause and help you finally live without the headaches.

Think posture only affects your back? Think again.

When your head tilts forward (like when you’re hunched over a desk or phone), the muscles around your jaw are forced to carry extra weight, and they weren’t built for that.

Over time, this can lead to jaw stiffness, facial tension, and even TMJ symptoms, even if your bite is healthy.

The sooner you seek TMJ treatment, the better!

TMJ causes damage to the jaw joint and surrounding area, and the longer the condition persists, the more damage can occur.

CPAP is highly effective for sleep apnea when it’s used correctly.

However, many people struggle to stick with it due to discomfort. Common complaints include nasal and throat irritation, skin irritation from the mask, feelings of claustrophobia, and the constant sound of the pump.

If CPAP feels unbearable, alternative treatments may be the key to better sleep without the frustration.

Different types of sleep apnea require different solutions.

Knowing the difference is the first step toward better sleep. Most cases are obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), where the airway collapses during sleep, blocking airflow. Less commonly, central sleep apnea (CSA) occurs when the brain doesn’t signal the body to breathe.

Some individuals experience both a condition known as complex sleep apnea, especially after starting CPAP therapy.
