Sourdough & Soup Workshop 🥖🍲

One of our very own members, Cathy Carolan, the owner and baker of “Baked With Love” will join our Registered Dietitian, Anne Klauke to show how to maintain a sourdough starter and how to turn out an incredible loaf of sourdough bread. You will be able to take home your own starter to get ‘started’ at home. 
Anne will demo and prepare a heart-warming soup recipe that will take off that January chill.  Come Hungry!!!

Simple Green Smoothie Recipe

1 Serving
397 calories; 10g fat; 38g carbohydrate; 8g fiber; 34.5g protein

Ingredients:

2 scoops protein powder of your choice (I use OWYN vanilla or chocolate )

1 cup frozen mixed berries or 1 banana

1 cup Ripple (pea-protein milk) or milk of your choice

2 cups chopped Kale or Spinach

1 peeled and pitted avocado (optional…makes it creamy and adds some healthy fats)

Directions:

Add Ripple and protein powder to high-powered blender and blend. Add berries and kale…blend until smooth. If mixture needs to be thinned, add water and continue blending until desired consistency.

* can use any type of fruit as desired and can add more veggies as desired…you can get creative!!
