Our residents spent the afternoon planting beautiful flowers in the courtyard today, and the smiles were blooming right along with them! There’s something so special about getting your hands in the soil, enjoying the fresh air, and creating beauty together as a community.

We can’t wait to watch our courtyard grow all summer long! 🌼🌿💐

🎤🍹 We had such an incredible turnout for Karaoke Day that we were practically spilling into the hallway — and we loved every minute of it!

Our very own crooning concierge, Michael, kept the hits coming while residents sang along, cheered each other on, and filled the community with laughter and music. The room was full, the energy was high, and thankfully… there were enough piña coladas to go around! 🌴🎶

Days like this remind us that senior living is all about connection, fun, and making memories together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a fantastic afternoon! ❤️

🇮🇹✈️ Last week at Waltonwood University, our residents were transported straight to Italy during Angie’s “Tour de Italia” Travelogue!

As part of our resident-favorite travel series, Angie shared stories, memories, and highlights from her adventures through Italy while everyone enjoyed festive décor, laughter, and plenty of Italian-inspired fun.

From pasta-themed tables to playful photo props, it was a wonderful afternoon filled with smiles and sweet memories shared together. ❤️🍝

At Waltonwood, we love creating experiences that spark conversation, connection, and a little adventure — no passport required!

We are honoring our nurses today. In Assisted Living, our Resident Care Manager Amber was featured in a "Meet the Nurse" social hour. The residents played a "getting to know you" game and asked Amber several non-clinical questions about her choice to become a nurse.

In Independent Living, we hosted a special recognition event for residents who are nurses.

They were presented with a card, poem, and pin in appreciation of their nursing dedication and engaged in meaningful discussions about the impact of their profession on their lives👩‍⚕️

Thank you to all our nurses at Waltonwood University! Your dedication has a great impact on everyone in our community.

🎤✨ Waltonwood Adventure Alert! ✨🎤

June had an unforgettable afternoon as we headed to downtown Rochester, Michigan to enjoy an amazing Elvis impersonator performance at The Roxy!

From singing along to classic hits to sharing laughs and memories together, it was a day full of music, fun, and smiles. 💙

Experiences like these are what make our Waltonwood Adventures so special — creating joyful moments and lasting memories together.

We’ve got an upgrade! 🎉🚌

Our community has always been on the move—but now we’re doing it in style with our brand-new bus! This new addition means an even more comfortable, safe, and enjoyable ride for all of our residents as they head out for shopping trips, dining outings, appointments, and fun adventures.

Same great outings… just a better ride. 💙

We can’t wait to make even more memories on the road together!

We brought the excitement of the Kentucky Derby right to our community—and what a race it was! Our residents had a blast cheering on their favorites, but in the end, the big winner was none other than Hearing Aid Hero! 🎉

From stylish hats to dapper outfits, everyone came dressed to impress and truly embraced the Derby spirit. We also enjoyed delicious southern comfort bites that made the day feel extra festive and fun. 🍗🥧

It was a perfect afternoon filled with laughter, friendly competition, and great company. 💐
