ROCovery Fitness is a peer-led supportive community of physically active individuals brought together by sober living. Our goal is to foster a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for healing and recovery—To help individuals rediscover their inner strength and resilience through fun, fitness and sober social connection. We are a not-for-profit community-based social care provider bringing fi

tness and non-fitness based classes and events as well as peer recovery support services to individuals with SUD in our community. All of our programs are free and open to ANYONE with at least 48-hours of continuous sobriety. We welcome friends, family members and ANYONE who chooses to live a sober lifestyle.

We had the opportunity to practice big “A” Advocacy yesterday at Friends of Recovery - New York Stand-Up For Recovery day! We were one among many🤝 Approximately 500 individuals from organizations around NY came together to advocate for funding priorities like Community Based Organizations and Peer Support… two things that are very near and dear to our hearts at ROCovery💙 Where there is breath there is hope and we do recover💪

Campfire Chats last night covered Camping Basics 🏕️

We shared experiences, traded helpful tips, and talked through camping etiquette—what to do, what not to do, and how to be a good neighbor outdoors. We wrapped things up with a little friendly competition, timing how quickly we could set up a tent… just over 3 minutes! 👏

Sledding at Highland Park on Saturday was such a blast. We tried out so many different hills, fully embraced our child-like love of snow, and filled the park with laughter and squeals as people flew down the hills. Pure winter joy ❄️
