Congratulations to Sudhakar Venkatesh, M.D., Diagnostic Radiologist at Mayo Clinic Rochester, for serving as a keynote speaker at the 90th Annual Scientific Meeting of the The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) in Melbourne.

Dr. Venkatesh led the Clinical Radiology – Hepatobiliary & Pancreas Track, presenting updates on diagnosing hepatocellular carcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, and interpreting post-treatment liver imaging.

A true leader in radiologic science!

Dr. Erik Middlebrooks' article, "Multi-Institutional recommendations on the use of 7T MRI in deep brain stimulation," has been chosen for the cover of the November 2025 issue of the Journal of Neurosurgery Publishing Group. This study evaluates 7T MRI's role in DBS, enhancing patient-specific targeting and outcomes. 👏

🧠✨ Transforming Neurosurgery with 3D Anatomic Modeling at Mayo Clinic

Mayo Clinic is redefining surgical precision with life-size, patient-specific 3D models created in-house to guide complex neurosurgical care. These models give surgeons a tangible understanding of each patient’s anatomy — something traditional imaging alone can’t fully provide.

Our seniors recently attended the MSRT Annual Conference, where they competed in the Student Knowledge Bowl against radiography students from programs all across Minnesota! 📚💡

With over 150 students participating in this year’s competition, we’re incredibly proud to share that Kimberly Xiong from the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences Radiography Program earned an impressive 2nd place! 🥈👏
