A special thanks goes out to Ambulatory Peds Practice nurse Paige Woodworth, who recently engaged in an effort to work with caregivers in our AC6 clinic to educate patient families on the safest ways to carry infants using car seats.
Car seat safety is incredibly important in all settings. In addition to helping patients understand the best ways to carry their children using car seats, we also work with the The Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Rochester to provide free car seat safety checks at GCH on the last Wednesday of every month.
