Chafa used to be the blacksmith of the Lahu village, but he also knew how to make their traditional instruments and play the local tunes.

He passed away a few years back, and I came across this old video of him,
It reminded me of the beautiful moments spent listening to the Lahu traditional music, which is used in ceremonies for calling spirits, healing, sending blessings or anything that the community/individual needs from invisible forces.

This images are from our bike trip to Ladakh and back across India.

and I were riding our motorcycles from Pangong txo (lake) to Txo Moriri on a route only used by military vehicles that just happened to reopen for tourists the day before!!

It was one of the most epic rides we ever had, lost of wild animals, high peaks, lakes and no one around,
I Will never forget the experience!!

These Yak bells are not from Ladakh they are from our last motorcycle trip to Nepal.

Nepali yak bells with amazing sounds, the beautiful collars made out of yak wool.

This bells have very deep sound and could be an amazing instrument to start a sound bath, we have many different tones actually no two are the same, they are entirely handmade.
