I was honored to attend an event today in support of the Somali community. It was so packed that many were turned away.
We are a nation of immigrants, and our diversity is our strength.
Trump is demonizing and dehumanizing yet another group in order to create a rationale to militarize our communities and to distract from his own failure and corruption.
Let's all stand up for our neighbors--whatever their origin, language, or religion. Bigotry has no place in our community!
