Virtual sessions are available across the state of Michigan and can be effective for articulation, language and literacy treatment. Have your seen the platform we use? It's not your typical zoom meeting or google classroom you've experience in the past. We use a dynamic platform that includes integrated games, flash cards and interactive activities. This quote reminds us of the strategy: "follow your child's lead." We often "follow the child's lead" in treatment to ensure they are interested, engaged and involved in the process.

Expressive language is the "out put." This can be in the form of crying/tantrums, eye contact, gestures, pointing, signs, grunts or words. Expressive language may also be in the form of picture symbols and speech generating devices. Your SLP can help you identify if your child is having trouble with expressive language and the steps to take to support expressive language development.
