Community First Care Organization Statement on Monroe, Erie, and Onondaga County moving to Yellow alert for Covid:
Community First is monitoring the situation with Covid-19 in our communities and continues to put in place the best practices to keep our staff and clients healthy and safe. Community First Care Organization is an essential business and will remain open and serving our communities and clients throughout this public health emergency.
Home Visits:
At Community First Care Organization we believe that achieving the necessary benefits to help you remain in the community of your choosing is of upmost importance and will continue to visit you in your home to assist you receiving the benefits you need to remain independent. While we are meeting with you in your home all individuals must remain masked at all time and social distancing of 6 feet will be adhered to when space allows. We plan to continue to offer home visits throughout this public emergency regardless of what color alert we are in. Receiving Medicaid and home health services is confusing and unnecessarily complicated and receiving these benefits so our clients can avoid being unnecessarily placed in a Nursing Home is of upmost importance to us.
Office Visits:
Drop in, walk in, and unscheduled appointments at our offices will be suspended ongoing while we are in the different color stages of the emergency. This is so that we are able to meet proper social distancing requirements at all times in our office. Appointments will still occur on a scheduled basis in our office and if you wish to set one up please call us at 585-441-9214. There will be limited ability for us to meet your needs if you make an unscheduled visit to our office but will do everything, we can to meet your needs safely.
Pooled Trust Payments and Representative Payments:
There will be no interruption to the payment of your bills if you are enrolled in our Pooled Trust or Representative Payee Program. This is an essential service and there will be no change to this throughout this public health emergency.
If you have any other questions or concerned please call us at 585-441-9214 and please remember to stay masked, stay apart, and most of all stay safe.
