Boundaries aren't just a buzzword; they're your mental health's best friend. It's not selfish to say no; it's self-care. 💪
It might seem hard or scary, but it's so important-- copy and paste these to use where applicable:
- Direct and Polite: "I'd love to help, but unfortunately, I can't right now."
- Give a Reason: "Thanks for thinking of me, but I have too much on my plate at the moment."
- Assertive: "I'd rather not, but thanks for thinking of me."
- Apologetic: "I'm really sorry, but I have to pass."
- Compromise: "I can't do the whole thing, but I can help with [specific part]."
- The Randy Jackson: "That's a no from me, dawg."

Summer's here, and it's the perfect time to show yourself some love. 😎 Here are a few ideas we have:
1. Start by soaking up the sun responsibly—hello, Vitamin D! ⛅
2. Try journaling your thoughts while lounging in a park or practicing mindfulness with a walk on the beach. 🌊
3. Make time for friends who lift you up, and don't be afraid to say "no" to plans that drain you.
4. Dive into a new hobby, whether it's paddleboarding or just reading that book you've been eyeing.
5. Extra time with the kids out of school? Now's the perfect time to try out therapy and get things back on track before the schedules fill up again this fall.
➡ And remember, it's totally okay to have lazy days once in awhile! You deserve some TLC!

Nah, we're not naming names, but we DO want you to evaluate what's coming through your feed.
Ask yourself:
- Is this helpful for my mental health?
- Is this inspiring me to do better? Or making me feel worse?
Let's take one step further towards protecting our peace. Your brain will thank you! 👏 #MentalHealthMatters #SocialMedia #Boundaries

Coping skills come in all kinds, and since it's #InternationalDanceDay, we wanted to share some stats with you about this groovy stress reliever:
💃 98% of participants in a research study reported dancing improved their mood and the capability to cope with stress.
🕺Research also shows that dancing improves your confidence and compassion for others.
🎵 Plus, listening to music releases levels of dopamine (the pleasure hormone) in your brain.
It doesn't matter if you're good at dancing or if you're dancing alone in your room with a hairbrush, turn up some of your favorite upbeat songs and get moving today!

Teen stress can feel a lot like grown-up stress.
Being a teen isn’t all fun and games. It’s filled with big pressures, firsts and tough moments. Therapy can give them the skills they can use to navigate them it all and prepare them to be happier adults.
