For patients with special needs, intraoral cameras make a big difference – giving dentists a clearer view, improving communication, and reducing the stress of exams. Thank you to Dr. Furqan Alwaely for providing this hands-on training to our orofacial pain residents.

Today the Eastman Family pledged support to patients with sickle cell disease, which can cause cavities, gum disease, pain, and enamel defects. Patients are encouraged to eat vegetables, nuts and fruits and stay hydrated to increase production of red blood cells.
