What a day to celebrate at Episcopal Church Home! 🎉

We were thrilled to mark the completion of our 19-month renovation project with a ribbon cutting ceremony last week, surrounded by community leaders, partners, volunteers, staff, board members and donors who helped make this transformation possible.

The celebration included remarks from Board Chair Richard Yates, President and CEO Lisa Marcello and SVP of Healthcare Amanda Teugeman, along with distinguished guests from across local and state leadership. A special prayer was offered by Kara Wagner, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester, adding a meaningful moment to an already memorable event.

Following the ceremony, guests toured the newly renovated spaces and experienced firsthand the thoughtful updates designed to enhance comfort, functionality and daily life throughout the community.

These improvements were made possible through the New York State Statewide Health Care Facility Transformation Program (SHCFTP), which supports hospitals, nursing homes and community health centers in upgrading infrastructure and improving patient and resident care, financial sustainability and health equity, particularly in underserved areas. Additional support came from Seniorsfirst Foundation, Senator Jeremy Cooney and many generous private donors, all to whom we are incredibly grateful. Together, these updates modernize the Home while honoring its longstanding legacy of quality care.

A heartfelt thank you to SWBR, LeChase and all of our project partners for bringing this vision to life with such care, collaboration and expertise.

Thank you to for capturing every awesome moment of the event. Check it all out here: https://ech-ribbon-cutting.sweethomephotoroc.com/
