Two hours in the car and you're already dreading the moment you have to stand up. Your lower back locks up, your hips feel like concrete, and the first few steps out of the car look like you aged 30 years.
Sound familiar? Prolonged sitting compresses your spinal discs and tightens your hip flexors. When you finally stand, everything that's been compressed has to decompress at once, and that's when the pain hits.
A few things can help. Adjusting your seat so your knees are slightly lower than your hips, taking a quick stretch break every hour, and keeping your lumbar spine supported while you drive. But if the pain keeps coming back no matter what you try, your spinal joints may need some hands-on attention.
We see this all the time and we can help. Let's get you back to road trips without the recovery time. 🚗
