Enhanced ACA premium tax credits—first introduced in 2021 to make Marketplace health insurance more affordable—are set to expire at the end of this year unless Congress acts. ⚖️ These credits have been vital in improving coverage affordability for millions, including people living with HIV. 🩺

💰 Because of political uncertainty, insurers are already proposing premium hikes. If the credits aren’t extended, millions could face higher costs—or lose access to affordable care altogether.
