There once was a duck egg that got mixed with the chicken eggs by accident. The duck hatched with the chickens, and was raised with the chickens. The duck believed he was a chicken. One day, the duck looks up and sees a flock birds soaring through the sky. He asks the chickens "What are those?" The chickens respond "Well, those are ducks." Now the duck thinks to himself 'I really wish that I was a duck.' Then he goes back to doing the chicken things he's always done. So, the duck lived and died as a chicken, because that's all he ever thought he was. To live to our potential, it takes more than wanting or believing we are special. We have to behave, consistent with our values, that we are special. The duck could have very well flown, only if he had chosen to act like a duck.
