Had a fantastic day as a Visiting Professor with the Department of Plastic Surgery at Vanderbilt . It was a pleasure to spend time with esteemed colleagues and outstanding residents, discussing advanced topics in facial anatomy as it relates to deep plane facelift surgery, followed by an anatomic dissection of the technique. Iā€™m grateful for the warm welcome and the opportunity to share in such a thoughtful and engaging academic experience.

I am excited to welcome our surgeons and faculty at the upcoming FaceAcademy360 Master Course at the Mayowood Mansion. It will be a night of friendship and celebration. The story of Mayowood Mansion goes back to 1910 when Dr. Charles Mayo and his wife, Edith, built the house and moved in 1911. Mayowood featured 48 rooms and cost $60,000 to build at the time, which was an impressive price. Over the years, Dr. Charlie expanded the estate significantly, eventually acquiring around 3,300 acres of surrounding land. From 1911 to 1968, three generations of the Mayo family lived in the home.
