We have never been in a Pandemic before. We have all lost security (human connections are forced to change, financial, uncertainty regarding employment) and feeling safe (for some to even leave their homes). Our reality’s are completely different. We don’t know how long this pandemic will last. We are worried about loved ones health and our own health. Our world is completely thrown upside down. So if you find yourself not able to concentrate, feeling anxious, wandering around your home and feeling like you accomplish nothing. Know you are not alone. We are all experiencing the same thing at the same time! Everyone is doing their best. You are doing your best! It’s time to practice self love and self care💕. Daily do 1 thing that shows love to yourself that helps you feel good about yourself. It can be reading a book, listening to podcasts (I recommend Brene brown’s new podcast and super soul by Oprah), taking a bath, taking a walk, calling a friend/family member to talk about your struggles, playing games with significant others and/or children, home beauty treatments. Whatever it is, do something daily. Be kind to yourself; talk kindly to yourself.

I encourage people to reach out for mental health services, if they are experiencing an increase anxiety, panic, and PTSD. Many therapists are offering tele health sessions. Anixety is felt mentally and physically in adults and children. If your child’s behavior is more hyper then normal it could be their way of showing their anxiety and need for comfort. Finding your purpose and journey in YOUR LIFE takes patience and soul searching.

Especially when it comes to life changes and/or behavioral changes; it can be a slow process. We may not like our situation but we can stay there longer then we should because it’s predictable and comfortable.

Change is hard; sometimes to make changes we need to let go of people that meant so much to us but want us to stay in our “miserable” situations/relationships.
