Many old sayings are questionable. How about Ben Franklin's "Early to bed and early to rise...." He never practiced this adage and lived to 84! For colds, try half strength apple juice for hydration, honey for coughs (if you are over 12 months), and maybe zinc for shortening symptoms. Stay away from alcohol! .

We asked experts if the adage is true.

🚶‍♂️💥 New study says one real walk beats tons of tiny ones!
People who took most of their steps in 1 longer walk (15+ min) had way lower risk of heart disease and early death than those doing quick little walks all day. Even a 10–15 min steady walk makes a big difference.Bottom line: Take a real walk. Your heart will thank you. 💙Source: del Pozo Cruz et al., Annals of Internal Medicine (2025)
