I'm beyond excited to be back vending at Pride, and to represent ONE Wellness Center as a welcoming environment for all. Sage and I both work hard to make sure that every body feels welcome in the treatment room, and to use our own lived experiences and research to make massage more welcoming, effective, and accessible for the q***r community.

As a transgender person, I understand the difficulty around seeking medical help, especially when it comes to bodywork. Whatever your relationship with your body may be, you are always safe with us.

As a q***r person, I am all too familiar with medical discrimination and anxiety. Sometimes it feels easier to avoid getting help rather than to tackle the feelings of frustration or helplessness that often accompany trying to advocate for yourself. This is Sweetgrass, (Hierochloe odorata or Anthoxanthum nitens) an important herb both medicinally and spiritually. It has a long tradition of use here in North America and in Europe, in food, medicine, crafting, and ritual.
