From nursing home royalty to retirement queen Bella, our beloved former resident cat, has been living her best life since being adopted by one of our amazing staff members. She’s already gone camping, attended a few Bible studies, and is now a full-time expert in cat naps. We miss her around Kirkhaven, but we’re so happy to see her thriving!

With the help of devoted family members, we hosted a surprise anniversary dinner right here at Kirkhaven. The room was beautifully decorated, the candles were lit, and the moment was unforgettable.

Donna and Guy Bartolotta, walked in expecting an ordinary visit, but instead found a private table set just for two, surrounded by flowers and memories from their 45 years together. Forty-five years is no small feat and we were honored to be apart of this celebration! Happy 45th Anniversary you two!

Resident Favorite: S’mores Pudding Parfaits!
This sweet treat was a HUGE hit with our residents. Layered with chocolate pudding, Fluff, pound cake, and graham cracker for crunch, it was so good, we had to share the recipe!

You’ll need:
-Chocolate pudding
-Marshmallow Fluff (loosened with a little milk)
-Cubed pound cake
-Crushed graham crackers

Layer it all up and enjoy! Optional: top with chocolate chips, toasted marshmallows, or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
