Great article. If you or a loved one is struggling with an eating disorder, this season, do not be afraid to ask me for help. While my caseload is currently full, I always make time to offer thorough diagnostic consultations. In these 2-3 hour sessions, I provide a wealth of psychoeducation about specific diagnoses and make sure patients understand options for receiving appropriate care. I am a member of PSYPACT, so licensed to practice in all 44 PSYPACT states. I practice mostly virtually, at this time, but could also meet at my office in downtown Rochester.

The urge to "start over" for the new year feels hopeful. In eating disorders, that same impulse can either support recovery or quietly pull people back into harmful patterns.
