ABOUT ME: I am highly specialized in treating eating disorders, with over 25 years of professional experience, grounded in empirically supported treatments—especially FBT. On a personal note, I developed a severe case of AN-R at age 13, after my best friend was murdered, and this disease completely dominated both my high school and undergrad years. It also affected my entire family!

Now, 3 decades later, my early experiences—layered beneath years of training and the ability to implement treatments that actually work—are what fuel my PASSION to move patients to a FULL RECOVERY, and as quickly as possible!!!

NOW TAKING NEW VIRTUAL PATIENTS in any of the 44 PsyPact states!! With the recent changes in our field, I can now “travel” with patients, when they head to college, etc! I have expanded my office hours and am SO excited to meet my new ongoing clients!

On a virtual platform, I work especially well with parents and families of patients (with or without patient present), as well as with teens and young adults in ongoing ED recovery. Social media and screen time are - rightly so - getting a lot of attention, as detriments to teen mental health. A secondary issue for teens is poor sleep. The repercussions are massive.
