We’re all in this for the right reason—our patients. 💙
Thank you for sharing this photo and for showing what strong teamwork looks like. When communication is clear and neighbors help neighbors, great things happen.

Today, was a great example of how strong partnerships make a difference.

Wabasha Ambulance responded to a call and worked alongside Pepin Ambulance for an ALS intercept, with Mayo One arriving to transport the patient by air for advanced care. From ground crews to the flight team, every link in the chain played a critical role.

Moments like these remind us that emergency care doesn’t stop at state lines. It’s about teamwork, communication, and neighbors helping neighbors when it matters most.

We’re proud to work alongside such dedicated professionals and grateful for the continued collaboration with Pepin Ambulance and Mayo One.

🏅 Lifesaving Care Recognized in Fredenburg Township 🏅
The Fredenburg Fire Department recently presented Lifesaver Awards to recognize exceptional emergency care provided over the past year—care that truly made the difference and saved lives in Fredenburg Township.
Sarah, Assistant Supervisor, played a key role in these lifesaving efforts as a member of both Fredenburg Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service. She proudly accepted the award as part of Fredenburg Fire Department. Dave, Manager, represented Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service, joining in the celebration alongside the two patients whose lives were saved.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of State Fire Marshal Dan Krier, State Representative Natalie Zeleznikar, State Senator Grant Hauschild, and St. Louis County Sheriff Gordon Ramsay—a powerful show of support for the lifesaving work happening in our communities.
🚑 Fun fact: Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service donated an ambulance to Fredenburg Fire Department years ago, reinforcing a long-standing partnership built on service and community care.
Thank you to all who dedicate themselves every day to protecting and saving lives.

🚨 Chain of Survival in Action 🚨

In August 2025, our Fairmont crew members, alongside fellow first responders, were dispatched to a call for help. Thanks to swift teamwork and adherence to the critical links in the Chain of Survival—early recognition, high‑quality CPR, defibrillation, and advanced resuscitation—this story has a powerful outcome.

As a result of these lifesaving actions, the patient regained spontaneous circulation and was alert and oriented before being transported to a medical facility for continued care.

Moments like this remind us why training, preparation, and collaboration matter—every second truly counts.

Thank you to Erica and Lisa, and to all of our dedicated responders in the Fairmont area, for your professionalism, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the patients and communities we serve.

Our crew, Erica (EMT) and Lisa (Paramedic), were presented with lifesaving awards by Sheila Denton ofSouth Central EMS and Officer Klay Brown of the Fairmont Police Department.
