Baby Formula Expert is the brainchild of Dr. Bridget Young. As an expert in infant nutrition, and a Mom herself, Dr Young was frustrated with the lack of information and support available to parents who choose to feed their babies formula. She found herself answering the same questions from patients over and over again, so she founded BabyFormulaExpert.com as a resource for both parents and health care providers. At Baby Formula Expert, we share the most cutting-edge research in the field of infant nutrition in easy-to-understand language. We also provide lots of step-by-step guides and hands-on resources for parents and health care providers. There are so many options in baby formula and parents are often left to pick one with no information. If a baby needs to switch formulas, parents can feel helpless and worried about how to choose the right option. At Baby Formula Expert, we help you eliminate that fear and feel confident in your decisions. We educate parents about exactly what differs between baby formula brands. We teach them how to choose a formula that is right for their baby while avoiding ingredients that may cause issues. ALL formulas are regulated to meet the needs of infants 0-12 months.
ALL formulas are made to be a safe substitute for breast milk (when it's not available).
So it's silly to say one formula is just for babies also getting breast milk.

No matter if your baby is also getting breast milk or not - Focus on finding the best protein/ fat / carb blend that keeps your baby comfortable.

This will be different for every baby. Every baby is different and perfect. 👼

Breastmilk is creaaamy! 🤱

The human infant was designed to consume a high-fat diet.
Roughly 50% of the calories in breast milk come from fat…. mmmm …. Now that is Creamy!
(It also sounds like my dream diet 🥓)

All baby formulas provide roughly that much fat as well.
Almost all US formulas use a blend of vegetable oils as the fat source in formula.
