‘CNY on Camera’ is a new grant-funded* program providing high production-value commercials to local small businesses, nonprofits, and destinations (at no cost to the recipients) to promote Central New York’s most cherished “”hidden gems”” 💎. The ultimate goal of ‘CNY on Camera’ is to grow CNY’s commercial-production industry and create jobs in film production 🎥 for CNY residents.
You can nominate any CNY small business, nonprofit, or destination. Do you absolutely love a local restaurant, book store, waterfall, museum, music venue, charity, etc? Let the world know by nominating them for a cinematic commercial!
Make as many nominations as you want (but just one at a time please) by Labor Day (9/1/25). And stay tuned for the next phase of this program for more opportunities to get involved!
