As of September 1st we have made a difficult decision to close The Hunter Resch Foundation. Over the past 9 years we have helped many families who suffered through the same tragedy we suffered. It’s been a lot of hard work that would not have been possible without the help of Michele Gilbert Read, Cheryl Gilbert Ras, Stacey Oliveri Morrison and most importantly Jennifer Maggi . All the donations from family, friends and people we’ve never met. Our last donation will be to a group who helps prevent domestic violence and mental health situations and one final donation of back to school supplies to families in need. Remember see something say something ❤️

Hunter Resch foundation had Buddy benches installed at all the elementary schools in Greece. Domestic violence starts somewhere and if we can teach our kids to be nice to each other then maybe later in life they will make better choices. One can only hope. I know Hunter is sitting on one of them just smiling!

To all our friends, family, and supporters….
We as a foundation have decided that we will not be doing a carnival this year. While we are still very active in raising awareness of domestic violence, and tragedy involving a child, we are refocusing our mission a bit. At this time we are not taking any tax deductible donations. Thank you all so much for your years of support in making the carnival a huge success, and maybe next year we will be back on track!

I just talked to a family who had a recent tragedy just like ours. Please say a prayer for this mom and her family that they can move on and find their "New Normal". Hopefully our foundation can get them started in the right direction.
