And no, you do not have to be Catholic to attend! It is a spiritual center.

✨ Our world hungers for Peace… and peace begins with community. ✨

Join us outdoors as we drum, pray, and connect under the setting summer sun. Led by Rochester’s Omni Drummers, this program invites you to experience rhythm as a way to deepen relationships—with each other, with all living things, and with the Creator.

🪘 Bring your own drum or rhythmic instrument (and a chair!) and be part of this moving evening of sound, spirit, and community. 🌅

Great message 🩷

Why I love festivals and look at them as a place for healing. It is why I felt called to create an event for Rochester.

There may be a lot that isn’t always in alignment, but at these kind of places, I sure do find more that is!

“Your Attention, Please” I wanted to share with you one of the main themes of this years Shangri-La. The idea of "Attention"

The most valuable currency of the modern age is not gold, oil, or even data - it’s attention. In a world overflowing with noise, what you choose to focus on defines your reality. We live in a time when our minds are constantly pulled outward - by endless scrolls, manipulated feeds, AI-generated content, and dopamine loops. The attention economy thrives on division, distraction, and disengagement.

But there is another way.
When we reclaim our awareness, we reclaim our sovereignty.
When we direct our attention rather than sell it, we become artists of our own reality.

“Where your attention goes, your energy flows.
What you attend to, you become.”

You will see many Eyes in the art, the stage design, and the show. These are there to remind ourselves to ask… “What are you looking at?” Where is our attention?
