Many people have expressed that once they finally had a chat with Kathleen Mugnolo - Professional Childbirth Consultant and Herbal Educator they were relieved and also wished they had talked to her sooner. Some have had Lyme and have taken antibiotics, assuming that would take care of it all and were having continued symptoms -- including brain stuff. There are herbs for that! And a whole mechanism of action. I can't recommend this workshop enough. I have learned a good bit from Kathleen in the past 4 years, and she is the most Lyme-literate person I know in this area. She has taught about tick-borne illness and treatment for a long time and is still recovering from Lyme herself. Her herbal protocol is no joke. Everyone goes home with a tick bite kit of GOOD pointy tweezers (ideal to prevent ticks from regurgitating into your body), bentonite clay, and knotweed tincture (an anti-spirochetal).

Please consider joining us for our Mugwort harvest and herb circle. Come out and harvest as much mugwort as you want. Seriously, we have so much.

I would love to sink into this plant as a migrant species and the value of Ki's medicine at the crucial times.

We will make smoke sticks, do limpia's, taste and learn about this medicine.

Bring your Mugwort stories and whatever else you are called to share.

Tulum was weird. I mean, they were advertising frog medicine on a billboard. Kinda Babylon-ish.

It's the kind of place that you need lots of money to enjoy properly. Not even the local.people could access the nice parts of the beach due to the development of ritzy resorts all along the coast. To get to the ruins one has to make their way through a shopping mall area and getting in to the archeological site felt extractive.

And it has a sargassum problem. If you aren't familiar with sargassum, I encourage you to read up on it before you schedule your vacation in the Caribbean.

I won't go back, but the ruins were cool.

So what seems like a long time ago now, we were on Caye Calker. Yes, we drove all the way down to Belize!

Caye Caulker was our vacation from our Big Mexico Adventure. The vibes here are sweet and very randy! This is a place to play!

We learned that a caye is different from an island. A caye is born of a mangrove seed that grew, reproduced, and collected shells.

The water is perfect and the food is delightful. There is karaoke every night.

We swam with the sharks and sting rays. I witnessed that parrot fish do "smile" up at you from the coral reef. AND they have a tarpon sanctuary!
