EASY WAY TO FIND IF YOUR AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE IS TH-1 OR TH-2
Hashimoto Thyroiditis is the most common type of Auto immune disease in United States.
Other common auto immune diseases are:
-Addison's disease
-Celiac disease
-Sprue (gluten-sensitive
enteropathy)
-Dermatomyositis
-Graves disease
-Multiple sclerosis
-Myasthenia gravis
-Pernicious anemia
-Reactive arthritis
-Rheumatoid arthritis
-Sjogren syndrome
-Systemic lupus erythematosus
-Type I diabetes
A person may have more than one autoimmune disorder at the same time.
Finding if it is TH-1type or TH 2 type autoimmune disease can help in the treatment. Of course blood tests is the one way of finding which type of auto immune
disease you have.
How ever there are other simpler ways is to find out if your autoimmune disease is TH-1 type or it is TH- 2 type. This test involve how you feel after taking certain
foods and supplements .
If after drinking coffee you feel better, your symptoms improve then you are most likely TH1 dominant and if your symptoms worsens then you are TH 2 dominance.
Similarly green tea, grape seed extract, pine bark extract and white willow bark will behave like coffee.
However, mushrooms , licorice,lemon balm, echinacea, astragalus behave opposite to the coffee. If the patient feels better and symptoms improve then he/she is TH-2 dominance and if symptoms get worse then patient is TH -1 dominance. These patterns along with lab test can give clinicians to formulate
treatment.

99% of my neuropathy is gone, brain fog is gone, 90% of of my joint pain is

ABOUT DR TAHIR MD
Dr. Tahir received his Medical Degree from the prestigious Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt. Then he completed
post-graduate studies in Pediatrics as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology from one of Ireland's top Universities: National
University and Dublin University in Dublin. Upon completion of his post graduate examinations, Dr. Tahir completed Clinical Internship and Residency in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine at Brookdale Hospital as well as Brooklyn Hospital through State University of New York at Downstate. Dr. Tahir was honored for achieving the highest scores in the Pediatrics and Internal Medicine Programs; receiving recognition from both Alan Bernstein, M.D., Chairman Department of Pediatrics, Brooklyn Hospital and from Alan F. Lyon, MD Chairman Department of Medicine Brookdale Hospital.
Dr. Tahir also completed his educational experience at Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital and has had more than 35 years of experience in practicing Clinical Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA) as well as member of American College of Physicians (ACP).
After meeting with Integrative Medicine Guru, Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr.Tahir began to pursue the practice of Holistic Integrative Medicine and he was able to cure his own arthritis, high cholesterol and obesity using this approach seeing cholesterol levels dropping from 350 to 150, and was able to take himself off Lipitor Medication for cholesterol. In addition he lost 20 pounds and his pain in his back and knees was also gone. Dr.Tahir learned the principles of Functional Medicine from Mark Hyman MD and Mind Body Spiritual healing from Deepak Chopra MD. Interestingly Dr Tahir was able to help his daughter with his holistic approach who was bedridden after a mysterious disease and all her tests were negative and many
specialists could not find the cause.
Using the same approach with his patients he started seeing significant successes. These successes encouraged Dr. Tahir to learn and use a holistic approach extensively. Dr. Tahir completed his training in Homeopathic Medicine at the Center of Education and Development of Clinical Homeopathy. He also received licensing from New York State to perform Therapeutic Massage after
completing hand on training in Swedish, Oncology, Sport and Pregnancy and Medical Massage ,Reflexology, Acupressure and Shiatsu. Dr. Tahir is also certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Dr. Tahir is happily married for the last 34 years and has 5 children and two lovely cats (Zazu and Gabi)
