World Sleep Society Advancing Sleep Health Worldwide

Because sleep health will be advanced by information, WSS will strive to advance knowledge about sleep and its disorders amongst both healthcare workers and the general public. This will include both education about the means to β€œhealthy sleep” as well as awareness of the adverse consequences of sleep dysfunction on the quality of life and the health of an individual. To address the concerns of sp

ecific areas of the world, WSS will provide a forum for discussion and consideration of issues of relevance to particular regions and cultures.

What happens when neuroscience, music, art, and dreaming come together?

πŸŒ™ Rhapsody of a Dream invites you on a journey you take every night, yet have never truly witnessed.

This immersive performance explores sleep and dreaming through live music, voice, visual art, and neuroscience, transforming the sleeping brain into a shared emotional experience.

Blending western and eastern musical traditions, participatory choral elements, and live visual projections, the project brings together artists and sleep researchers in a unique public conversation around the knowns and unknowns of the sleeping mind and the importance of healthy sleep.

Featuring:
🎹 Elenora Pertz – piano
🎀 Kendy Gable – voice
🎨 Justin Coombes – visual art
🎨 Amaia Salazar – visual art

Sleep is essential to health, well-being, and daily performance.

This World Sleep Day, communities around the world brought that message to life in powerful ways. In Kuala Lumpur, thousands gathered at Sunway Pyramid for a large-scale public event led by , raising awareness about the importance of quality sleep.

With support from World Men’s Doubles Badminton Champion, Aaron Chia, the event engaged the public through education, conversation, and shared commitment to better sleep.

This is what global impact looks like. Local leadership, community engagement, and a shared mission to advance sleep health for all.
