Exploring Technology with Mr. King

In Tech class, Mr. Joshua King creates an engaging environment that meets the diverse interests of his students. For those who love hands-on learning, like Cameron, opportunities abound—he can be seen alongside Mr. King to disassemble a computer and discover how to repair it. Meanwhile, students like Vee (pictured) prefer a different challenge, diving into computer programs that incorporate exciting engineering elements.

Welcome to the board Kate Budlong!

Kate Budlong is a leadership coach and organizational health consultant with two decades of experience across the for-profit and non-profit sectors. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University at Buffalo and her Master of Science for Teachers from Le Moyne College. Kate is also a graduate of Lead Up CNY and Leadership Cayuga.

Before founding Leadership-Culture-Performance Consulting (LCP Consulting) in 2022, Kate served as Director of Programs and Business Development at Consumer Directed Choices in Albany, where she led strategic growth, compliance, and advocacy initiatives. She also held senior leadership roles at the Independent Living Center of Central New York, overseeing long-term care services and organizational strategy.

Kate specializes in leadership development, executive coaching, and fostering high-performing teams. She is certified in the Working Genius model and supports organizations through customized training, strategic planning, and board development. Kate currently serves on the boards of Kid Central CNY and Heritage Farm and is known for helping individuals and organizations achieve measurable, sustainable results through a balance of strategic insight and hands-on guidance.

The WNY Rochester Flash 2013 ECNL-RL Girls Soccer Team Shines Bright This Holiday Season!

This past weekend, these amazing young athletes went above and beyond to give back to the community. Through their incredible efforts, the team raised over $700 and fulfilled seven holiday wish tags as part of Villa of Hope’s Holiday Wishes Program!
Thanks to their generosity, youth and families served by the Villa will experience the joy of receiving gifts this holiday season. What an inspiring example of teamwork, compassion, and community spirit. Way to go, ladies—you truly made a difference!
