It is such a curious thing how you can be looking for something all over your house, and then it will appear right in front of your nose, when you are not looking anymore.
I have searched for the paper with “The Release Bundles” for over 20 years.
Yes it is true!!!
I thought I had saved it to my computer, but I hadn’t.
One day this week I was taking a book off my bookshelf and there it was, in an envelope with “Release Bundles” written in big letters on the front. I couldn’t believe it! Inside the envelope, I found a piece of paper with the heading “Release Bundles” 1998.
A long time ago and how the world has changed in so many ways since then. On the other hand, it goes to show you nothing really goes out of date when it comes to working on oneself.
I love this ritual and have done it many times in the past, despite not having the instructions. I made up my own, which you can do, or, you can add the Release Bundles to your creation.
Winter is the perfect time to get quiet, go within, and reflect on this past year with gratitude for all the lessons, challenges and gifts it has brought you. It is also a great time to sow the seeds for what you would like to manifest in the coming year.

Exciting News to share! Last April I completed my studies in Biofield Tuning and I am now a certified Biofield Tuning Practitioner.
It is a powerful stand alone practice and also a great addition to my Qi Gong practice. You may ask what is " Biofield Tuning"? We all have a field of energy around our bodies and this is called the biofield. It expands about 5 to 6 feet out from the body and 2 to 3 feet above the head and below the feet. It has a toroidal shape, similar to the cross section of an apple or any fruit or ripples in water.
When a tree is cut down, you can see the rings on the trunk, circling all the way from the outside to the centre.
Our energy field is similar; the outer membrane relates to gestation and birth, then early childhood and moving in towards the body are all the years we have lived, up to the present day.
Hypothetically, the field is like our personal ‘cloud’ where all our memories, beliefs, accidents, injuries, traumas, experiences, everything that has ever happened to us is stored in standing waves and we experience reality through the filter of our fields.
As we go through the days of our lives, we have experiences and generate corresponding wave forms associated with those experiences and they propagate off the body. Traumatic or stressful experiences may generate incoherent or chaotic wave forms.
So in simple terms, when we have these experiences we leave parts of our energy, light, life force, or in scientific terms our “biophotons” out in our field, and this effects our energy level in our lives today.
With a tuning fork, I locate the area in the field, where the energy is tangled up, creating distortion or dissonance in the field. The coherent frequency input from the tuning fork resolves the chaos and detangles what is holding that energy allowing it to be released.

The Winter Solstice; A Time to Rejoice and Celebrate!
Qi Gong Class on the 21st of December at 10am on Zoom

Come and celebrate the day with me on Zoom. The class will include qi gong movements for the winter season, meditation and quiet reflection, the healing sound for the kidneys and more…..Class will be from 10am to 11:30am approx. Cost is $10. The 21st of December is an important day in many cultures around the world. This is the day when yin energy on our planet is at its highest (the longest night) and yang energy is at its lowest (the shortest day).

Winter is the season of repair and regeneration. It is a time to conserve energy both physically and spiritually, to collect your thoughts and plant seeds for the coming year. A time to rest, go to bed early and allow yourself to be lazy, a time to cut out busyness and overstimulation.

It is a wonderful time to lock in your dreams and aspirations. It is a time to set goals as you ride the yang wave into the next cycle. This is the time, Right Now.... to pause…. and allow your body, mind and spirit, to recover fully from a busy hectic year. Allow your energy to consolidate, wind down and wind inward, with the yin energy, and really think through what you want the next year to look like.
Winter darkness has a positive side to it. The Solstice is a time to celebrate the slow turning of winter to spring, a time to recognize and honor the beauty in the cold, dark, bleak winter season. Take a few minutes to be thankful for the gift of wisdom winter brings, in teaching us the quality of withdrawal as an essential part of renewal.

The Winter Solstice celebrates the return of light, warmth and hope as we experience the first slow turn towards greater daylight. So take a moment on the solstice and embrace the positive, enriching aspects of winter's darkness. Sit quietly in the dark and allow it to enfold you in quiet peace

Autumn has arrived!

Dear Friends

I hope you are well and staying calm and peaceful, despite this stressful time we are going through.

Thank you so much for taking part in my “virtual QiGong class”.
I really appreciated your help and patience as we worked out the technical kinks together. Despite the barking dogs at my office door, and not being able to see my feet in the camera lens, I hope you enjoyed the class and felt less anxious and stressed for the rest of your Saturday.

Who doesn’t love a Massage!

Here is a self massage you can do any time and it is guaranteed to make you feel better.

1 Rub the hands together until you feel the warmth and energy between your palms.
Close your eyes and put your palms over them, imagine you are breathing through the eyes. Repeat 9 times.
This is good for the liver; the eyes are the sensory organ for the liver, in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

2. Put the middle fingers on sides of the nose; rub vigorously, up and down
From top of the brows down to the chin, with middle fingers, repeat 36 times.
This is good for the lungs and large Intestine.

3. Bite down on your teeth, 36 times from front to back. This is good for the kidneys.
Roll the tongue around the inside of the mouth 9 times
Roll the tongue around the outside of the teeth 9 times
Then swallow the saliva, in three gulps. Saliva is a very precious life force fluid in the body. In Chinese Medicine it is seen as the pill of immortality.

4. Stick your tongue out with mouth wide open; roll up the eyes for 9 breaths
This is good for getting rid of bad breath and makes you radiant.

5. Tap the head from the hairline to Bai Hui (Crown of head) from Bai Hui to temples and back to Bai Hui. Tap down the back of head, back up Bai Hui, then tap down to the temples, back to Bai Hui, do this cycle 3 times. Then imagine your fingers are a comb and comb through your hair from the front of your head to the back and sides. Repeat 3 times. This is really good for clearing the head and supplying blood to the brain.

6. Massage, the back of the head and the base of the skull. This helps to clear the supply of blood to the brain, head and spine. Do 21 times.

7. Put the heel of the hands behind the ears and rub the ears from back to front bending ears forward, repeat 21 times. If the ears are soft it means good health. This is very good for the Kidneys, and brings warmth to the body and clears the brain.

8. Rub the hands together; place the hands under the breasts, for women, and on the kidneys, for men. Take 9 deep breaths in and out. This helps to balance the hormones.

9. Place the hands on the navel, fingers on groin, squeeze up and down 9 times.

Relax and imagine you are a sponge soaking in a warm bath of Qi and say to yourself “I am in Qi and Qi is in me”

Becoming Aware of your Breath
The very first thing we do when we are born is take a breath, and that is when the life force energy comes into our bodies. It is in that space between the inhale and exhale. The very last thing we do before we pass from this earthly plane is to exhale, as the life force energy leaves the body.

Next time you breathe in, pause at the top of the breath for a moment and feel the energy enter your body. It happens with every breath we take. Most of the time, we are hardly aware of breathing, unless we are meditating, running or working out. In fact, we only use 40% of our lung capacity.

Take a few minutes in your day today and try the following exercise:
• Inhale, as you raise your arms over your head, palms face the sky
• Exhale as you slowly bring your arms back down.
Repeat 3 to 6 times.
This is done with normal breathing:
• Inhale raising your arms over your head and see if you can stretch your breath.
• As you exhale lower your arms and see if you can really empty your lungs completely.
Repeat 3 to 6 times.
• This time pause at the top of the inhale and imagine the life force energy, the Qi coming into your body filling all the cells.
Repeat 3 to 6 times
• Now stand quietly and as you breathe, imagine your lungs are filling with pure white light and feel your heart fill with gratitude and appreciation for the gift of your lungs and your capacity to breathe.

A Time To Let Go……….

In Traditional Chinese Medicine the autumn is the season of the Lungs and
Large Intestine.

The emotions we hold in our lungs are grief, loss, sadness and
disappointment. When we have a difficult time letting go of these emotions, it
may manifest in our large intestine and result in constipation.

This is the time to let go of all that doesn’t serve us and all that is
unnecessary in our lives. It is the time to organize our days and to let go
confusion and chaos, a time for drawing inwards and becoming quiet. It is
a time to sow the seeds of what we want to manifest in the future, allowing
our ideas and visions to germinate and take root deep within us.

Try this exercise:
• Take a moment, sit down, relax and take 3 deep breaths, filling up your lungs completely.
• Imagine your lungs are two white balloons and as you take in the breath, you are filling them up with courage, dignity, integrity and high self esteem.
• As you exhale imagine, sorrow, loss, grief, or disappointment leaving your body.
• Ask yourself; is there something I am holding onto physically or emotionally?

Transitioning from one season to another is tough on the body and autumn
can be difficult for us to adjust to colder weather, shorter days and longer
nights.
To help your body ease into the season a Qi Gong treatment can
be very beneficial. Remember I am here to help you.

The Power of Sound Waves
Last January I introduced tuning forks into my Qi Gong therapy practice.
Over the last six months I have found out how powerful and amazing they are.
Did you know that there is a tuning fork for each organ in the body? There is also one for the brain, blood, tissue and muscles, for pain relief, improving memory, cell regeneration and producing endorphins?
The sound waves produced by tapping the tuning fork and placing it over the organ, or on an acupuncture point releases stuck or blocked energy. This helps to improve the function of the organs and the general health of the body.
I have found that using the tuning forks helps calm anxiety and stress, reduce digestive issues and alleviate depression and pain.
Even if you are feeling really well, having a treatment every month to six weeks is extremely beneficial in helping to maintain good health.
Start your summer with your energy flowing.

Dear Friends
Do you have food cravings? I think all of us have at one time or another.
Maybe you have been working really hard and feel you deserve a big bag of potato chips and that bar of chocolate in your desk, or you are having a bad day and reach for the tub of ice cream in the freezer, or you are simply too tired to prepare dinner and have popcorn instead. You go for the so called “comfort foods”. Once in a while that is ok, but if you find it is becoming a habit, your body may be trying to send you a message that your diet is missing certain nutrients that are not found in junk food.
Eating a clean balanced diet helps the Qi to flow, uplifts the mood, clears the mind and energizes the body and a Qi Gong treatment enhances all of the above.
Don’t wait, call me and make an appointment for a treatment, it can really help with those cravings.
