Early Bird Registration Closing Oct. 15! Larry Noble and Naomi Bar-Yam at the 4th Ithaca Breastfeeding Coalition Conference
The Ithaca Breastfeeding Coalition, in collaboration with Cayuga Medical Center, is pleased to bring Larry Noble, MD, FAAP, FABM, IBCLC and Naomi Bar-Yam, ACSW, Ph.D. to Ithaca Thursday and Friday November 12-13. Anyone who supports breastfeeding mothers is welcome! Pediatricians, nurses, mother-to-mother support group leaders, IBCLCs, OBs, peer counselors, and more will be gathering to learn and share ideas.

Larry Noble works as a pediatrician and neonatologist in New York City, currently at Elmhurst Hospital and Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He serves on the Board of Directors and as Secretary of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine. He is a former member of the Executive Committee of the Breastfeeding Section of the AAP. He also founded and is co-chair of the Bronx Breastfeeding Coalition and the annual Breastfeeding Beyond Basics Conferences at Jacobi Hospital in NYC and is a member of the NYC Breastfeeding Promotion Leadership Committee.
Naomi Bar-Yam, ACSW, Ph.D. has been working in maternal and child health for over 25 years as an educator, researcher and writer, in the US and overseas. Areas of special interest include breastfeeding, milk banking, ethical issues in perinatal health. Naomi is the founding director of the Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast, providing safe donor milk to hospitals and families throughout the northeast. She is on the Board of Directors and President-Elect of the Human Milk Banking Association of North America.
