As a mother to a NICU baby, I experienced firsthand the challenges of postpartum depression and the lack of education and support many new moms face.

After the birth of my child, I found the standard response to postpartum struggles was often medication, but I was unaware of holistic options like placenta encapsulation, the support of midwives, doulas, or lactation consultants.

This inspired me to pursue a path in birth work—dedicated to providing support, education, and care to women during their transformative postpartum journey.

My passion for supporting women and
children began during college, where I earned an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education.
Following several years in childcare, including directing a center, I transitioned into healthcare, becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant and later a Medical Assistant. This journey revealed the efficacy of natural remedies and supplements alongside traditional medicine. It prompted me to look into other ways to help advocate and educate mothers and children.
I learned about placenta encapsulation through a friend. A new love was born.
I took a class and then applied to the APPA, to start my certification.

In 2017, I took a course in placenta encapsulation, which sparked my passion for offering new mothers a more holistic, supportive experience.
Although the pandemic delayed my business plans, in 2024, I felt ready to return to this calling.
I completed my certification as a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist through The Association of Placenta Preparation Arts (APPA), an organization known for its high standards of practice.

Vitami B9 is one of the 8 B vitamins.

B9 also known as Folic acid is crucial for proper brain function and plays an important role in mental and emotional health.

It aids in the production of DNA and RNA, the body’s genetic material, and is especially important when cells and tissues are growing rapidly, such as in infancy and pregnancy.

Folic acid also works closely with vitamin B12 to help make red blood cells and help iron work properly in the body.
